Our Story
West One Stone is a new business established in September 2020 by Sandro Madureira. Sandro has been working with a range of natural and composite materials for over 30 years.
He started his stone journey in Portugal after moving there from his native Angola, where he began learning how to cut and shape stone. His journey continued as he moved to the UK 20 years ago where he has focused on the fabrication and installation of luxury stone fixings across London and the South East.
Sandro has built close relations with various stonemasonries in and around London including Alpha Marble and Granite, Middlesex Marble, Granite UK, MGM Italy and MGLW.
In these 20 years in London, he has worked as a sole trader, “Sandro Stone Solutions”, working as a project manager for these companies overseeing projects of various sizes and detailing with the focus always being on fine stone craftsmanship. In recent years, Sandro has trained and developed many masons, recently focusing on building his own team to now create West One Stone. As a business, West One Stone is ready to deliver the best quality work for refined customers whether they be homeowners, designers or architects.
